Massey Ferguson 245 Maintenance Intervals

Every ten Hours or Daily

Engine oil level checking. If the oil level is also depression, add together new oil.

Transmission/hydraulic oil level checking procedure. When transmission/hydraulic oil is low, fill in new oil.

Checking engine principal/secondary air filter. Replace with a new one if necessary.

Cheque radiator coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, add together coolant in cooling system.

Cheque engine idling, steering arrangement, service brakes and hand brake. Repair whatsoever damage if required.

Every 50 Hours

Check tire aggrandizement pressure. Add together air to tires if necessary.

Inspect the battery. Clean the terminals as required.

Check front beam oil level. Make full as required.

Check the hydraulic fluid level in arrangement. Fill every bit required.

Lubricate the forepart axle bearing assembly.

Tighten wheel bolts and nuts.

Every 200 hours

Changing engine oil. Recommended oil type: SAE xx, 20W. API service classification MS, DS, MM, DM. How much to fill: Engine Oil Capacity - 6.0 qt (5.7 L). Afterward changing the oil, cheque the level with a dipstick.

Engine oil filter replacement. Filter role number - 1069954M92 (Gas) or 1447082M2 (Diesel). Clean the filter housing from clay before replacing the filter element. After installing a new filter, cheque the oil level. If necessary, add oil.

Check engine chief air filter chemical element. Alter if necessary. Air filter part number - 1043326M91.

Inspect engine secondary air filter element. Supplant equally required. Part number - 1043327M91.

Cab air filter element checking. Supervene upon as required. Cab air filter part number: 192803M91.

Make clean the radiator grill from dust and dirt.

Check fan/alternator belt tension. Adjust if necessary.

Check the torque of the bike bolts.

Every 500 Hours

Changing steering fluid filter. Steering fluid filter part number - 1052262M91 (Gas) or 1052097V1 (Diesel). When the filter is replaced, check the steering fluid level. Add oil if required. Steering Oil Capacity - ane.0 qt (0.9 50).

Alter fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 3405419V1 (Diesel).

Check the coolant in radiator. Top upwardly if coolant is low.

Front beam fluid change. Forepart Axle Oil - Permatran.

Bank check and adjust the restriction organisation components.

Every 750 Hours

Replace transmission/hydraulic fluid. Manual/hydraulic fluid type - Permatran 821XL, SAE 10W-xxx. How much is required: Transmission/Hydraulic Oil Capacity - 8.six gal (32.5 L). Fill up with the new transmission/hydraulic oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Perform hydraulic filter element replacement. Part number of hydraulic filter element - 1053870M91/1060005M92 (Spin-on), 1687042V91 (Lift Pump), 535040M1 (Oil Cooler Lines). When the filter element is replaced, cheque the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. Add together fluid if necessary.

Check engine idling. If necessary, conform the engine idle speed.

Inspect all tubes and hoses. Tighten as required.

Supersede filter and engine oil. Check and clean the lubrication system.

Install a new engine primary and secondart air filters.

Install a new hydraulic filter and fill with fresh transmission/hydraulic oil.

Replace steering filter and fill the steering system with fresh fluid.

Supplant the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Change the cab air filter.

Make clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and add fresh coolant. Cooling Arrangement Capacity - 10.5 qt (9.ix L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charging.

Adjust engine valve clearance.
